Market Garden Brewery

Packaging Design

A beloved brewery in Cleveland’s Ohio City neighborhood. Originally a brewpub that opened in 2011 near the West Side Market, Market Garden expanded in 2016 with a 35,000-square-foot production brewhouse. As they began releasing their core beer flavors in cans, I was tasked with designing packaging that captured the vibrant spirit of Ohio City while helping the brewery stand out in the highly competitive beer market.

The goal of the packaging design was to evoke the neighborhood's energetic, creative vibe, incorporating bold colors and modern graphic elements that resonated with both local residents and visitors. At the same time, the design needed to highlight the brewery's strong presence in the local community and its dedication to high-quality, crowd-pleasing beers. I focused on creating a visual identity that felt both dynamic and approachable, ensuring the packaging would grab attention on crowded shelves while reflecting Market Garden’s passion for great beer and community. The result was a set of can designs that proudly represented the brewery's essence and appealed to a diverse range of beer lovers.
